The GR20
The GR20 is arguably the toughest long distance hiking route in Europe and is often described as one of the most exhilarating long distance walks in the world. Although our trips provide a degree of comfort not normally found on the GR20 (which is a real bonus), it is still a tough walk which requires fitness, stamina and a head for heights.
On this site, you will find several versions of this holiday. With or without carrying luggage? South rather than North? It is generally known that the southern section is easier with less mountainous relief. You can also choose to walk self-guided or with a group and a guide. You can also join a group on our guaranteed departure dates. But before, it's maybe a good idea to check if you are fit enough for the GR20: it is arguably the toughest walking route in Europe!
For those who wish to combine hiking and cycling, there is now the GT20 or Grande Traversée, a cycling circuit from Bastia to Bonifacio with several connection points with the GR20.
If you are up to the challenge, the GR20 is a real dream hike. The holy grail of long distance trails in Europe, the trail leads from Calenzana in the North to Conca in the South. On your bucket list - go for it !
